At the Willowood Inn, tucked into Wisconsin’s scenic Baraboo Hills, you’ll experience the charm of a classic mid-century motor court with the comforts of home. Nestled on four quiet acres in the Driftless Region, our peaceful property offers evenings filled with crickets and starry skies, and mornings welcomed by birdsong.

We’re just minutes from historic downtown Baraboo and a short walk to the trails and panoramic views of Devil’s Lake State Park.

Each of our well-kept rooms is individually themed, offering a unique and memorable stay far from the feel of chain hotels. Set against the natural beauty of the Baraboo Bluffs, the Willowood Inn is a place to slow down, unplug, and unwind—no matter the season.

Originally opened in 1955 as the Dream Lodge Motel, the inn has seen many changes, but one thing remains: generations of guests returning year after year to relive the summer vacations they first experienced as kids.
